The AIEOU Shared Research Agenda sets out ten priorities for research on AI in education, shaped through dialogue with our interdisciplinary and international community. It reflects a commitment to ensuring that the questions guiding the field are informed not only by technological possibility, but by the needs, experiences, and perspectives of those who design, use, study, and govern AI in educational contexts.

Together, these priorities provide a shared framework for research across disciplines, sectors, and settings. They are intended not as a fixed agenda, but as a foundation for collaboration, helping researchers, educators, policymakers, industry, and wider communities identify where evidence is most needed and work collectively towards AI in education that supports learning, human flourishing, equity, and the public good.
